Rules for using Enzi

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, accessing, or using Enzi, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and authority

You must have legal capacity to enter into these terms or have the necessary authority to use Enzi on behalf of another person or entity. If you upload information about third parties, you are responsible for ensuring that you have a lawful basis to do so.

3. Account responsibilities

• You must provide accurate account information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You must promptly notify us of unauthorised access or security incidents.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by law.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Enzi to break the law, infringe rights, harass others, upload malicious code, scrape the service without permission, or attempt to bypass security controls. You may not upload content that you do not have permission to use or disclose.

5. Family data and user content

You retain responsibility for the information and content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.

6. Privacy and data protection

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. You agree to use Enzi in a manner consistent with applicable privacy and data-protection laws, including GDPR and POPIA where relevant.

7. Invitations and collaboration

Invitation links, family linking, and related collaboration tools are provided to help families connect. We may impose validity periods, approval requirements, or access restrictions to protect users and data.

8. Verification and account security

You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address used for verification, password resets, and security notices. We may require email verification before account activation and may suspend access to protect the service or other users.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, although we aim to operate the service reliably.

10. Intellectual property

Enzi and its related branding, software, and service materials remain our property or the property of our licensors, except for user content that you submit and own.

11. Plans, billing, and cancellation

If Enzi offers paid plans, upgrades, or subscription features, the applicable pricing, billing cadence, trial terms, taxes, renewal logic, and cancellation rules will be presented at the point of purchase. You can review the general cancellation framework in our Cancellation Policy.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these terms, misuse of the service, a security risk, or a legal requirement to do so.

13. Disclaimers

Enzi is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or free from defects, but we work to maintain its quality and reliability.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising from use of the service.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms, except to the extent prohibited by law.

16. Governing law

Unless otherwise required by mandatory law, these terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operating entity for Enzi is established. Mandatory consumer and privacy rights continue to apply where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
