Cancellation Policy

How plan changes, cancellations, and refunds work

This policy explains how Enzi handles subscription cancellations, downgrades, renewals, free trials, and refund requests where paid plans or premium features are offered.

Last updated: 23 July 2026

Scope

This policy applies only if Enzi offers a paid subscription, one-time upgrade, or premium feature. If you use the free product only, the account-closure sections may still apply to you.

Consumer-law note

Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under applicable consumer, privacy, or payments law, including mandatory refund or cooling-off rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. Cancelling a recurring subscription

You can cancel a recurring subscription before the next renewal date to stop future charges. Unless the purchase terms say otherwise, your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.

2. Billing platforms

If you subscribed through Apple, Google, or another app-store provider, you may need to manage cancellation through that platform. Their rules, billing notices, and refund tools may apply in addition to ours.

3. Upgrades and downgrades

Upgrades may take effect immediately or at the next billing cycle, depending on the pricing model in force. Downgrades may reduce access to premium functionality once the active paid period ends.

4. Free trials

If a trial is offered, the exact duration and what happens when it ends will be shown at sign-up or checkout. Cancel before the trial ends if you do not want the plan to renew into a paid subscription.

5. Refunds

We review refund requests in good faith, taking into account payment platform rules, local law, accidental purchases, duplicate charges, service availability issues, and the timing of the request. Refunds are not guaranteed where the law or platform rules do not require them.

6. Account closure

Closing your account does not automatically reverse historical charges. It may, however, stop future access and trigger our retention and deletion workflows under the Privacy Policy.

7. Family data after cancellation

If a paid plan ends, some premium features may stop while core family records remain available, subject to the product offering at that time, account status, and any applicable retention or deletion request.

8. Charge disputes

Please contact us before filing a payment dispute where possible. This gives us a chance to investigate, explain the charge, correct an error, or process a remedy faster.

9. Contact us

For billing, cancellation, or refund questions, email support@enziapp.com and include the account email, payment date, platform used, and a short summary of the issue.

Note: This policy gives the general framework. If a paid feature launches with more specific billing terms, the checkout page or product notice for that plan will control alongside applicable law.
